Save money on car insurance by using Bingle

This week I had to renew my car insurance with bingle.com.au and decided to shop around before making that final purchasing decision. Low and behold, bingle turned out cheaper than most of the other car insurance companies (had one quote that was almost $1100 more expensive than bingle’s quote) so I definitely went with bingle. I normally recommend my friends and family member to use bingle so that they can save money and today I thought to myself why not extend this to our readers as well.

If you’re a bit skeptical about the bingle service then let me assure you that making claims is not only easy but it’s really convenient – just fill out a form online and then someone gives you a call back. My understanding is that the company is underwritten by AAMI and that one of the main reasons why their insurance prices are cheap is because they do not have the expensive services like a call centres that most other companies have. Everything is done online.

I’ve been with them for almost 3 years now and have saved quite a considerable amount of money… more cash in my pocket so why not do the same with yours. Get a quote and let us know how you went.

Have you seen “Misleading sales”

I was watching Today Tonight the other day and I was quite surprised at the different techniques large retail stores were using to mislead their customers to thinking they are having a sale or were getting a bargain for items on sale. As an example, one grocery retail chain actually marked up their prices and had a “special tag” with a higher price than the normal tag. Yes, some shopper may not have noticed the difference but how untrustworthy is the retailer!

Our advice: The next time you go shopping and you see a “special tag”, just have a quick peek to make sure the “special” price is actually cheaper than the normal priced tag.
